The striking fabrics and one-off pieces of art, create a retreat that is equally as lovely to look at, as to relax in. Emphasis has been placed on the quality of its furnishings and the spectrum of at-home amenities. There are areas for everyone to converge together as a family and places to steal away to when calm is needed. The two light and airy open-plan living spaces are perfect for unwinding. The four sumptuous bedrooms, all with TV’s have flexible bed configurations (options between super king beds or two singles) which enable a sleeping arrangement which can be tailored to suit most groups. Designed for all seasons, the downstairs living room features a wood-burning stove for keeping cosy during the colder months. For sunshine-filled warmer ones, the sliding doors spill out to a wide, enclosed deck where an outdoor sofa and hot tub invite afternoons of relaxation, outdoor dining, table tennis and barbecues. Upstairs, beneath an impressive vaulted ceiling lies the second sitting area which has extensive views from its huge A-frame window. Here, perhaps enjoy a morning coffee or catch up on a good book; its long balcony affords guests a terrific vantage point over the lakes and surrounding hills - ideal at any time of the day or for peacefully watching the sun setting in the evening. Also on this floor is the property’s inviting playroom which is packed with a myriad of equipment and games that include a climbing frame and dressing up box, doll’s house and many more quality toys. If requested, the play area can be converted into a 5th sleeping space. The lodge has two cots and two high-chairs as well as baby gates top and bottom of the stairs. The large outside playhouse is equipped with a play kitchen and little gallery area so children can recreate their very own miniature holiday home.
